I am looking for the lyrics to a song that I heard in the movie "Wordplay". It is about a guy staring at the blank grid and wondering how to start. Anyone know about this song? I will be attending this year's NYTimes crossword puzzle contest and Iwould love to sing it there. But I am writing me own song, too, and don't want to duplicate a song idea. Di

I don't know if this is the song you are looking for, it is called Crossword Puzzle and is from a play called "Starting Here, Starting Now".

I found both songs on You Tube, the one from Wordplay and the one called Crossword Puzzle from the play "Starting Here, Starting Now". The Crossword Puzzle song was the one I was searching for. Gee, I should have gone to You Tube first. But I know i will always get great info from my fellow Mudcatters!

I am happy to see that there is a show called Corporate Country Sucks! That's what Willie and Waylon and the Outlaws were saying when they shunned Nashville and went to Austin! Hooray for independant music of all sorts...
