Our own thread? I thought you'd be grateful for the geographically non-intrusive free "refresh" which also adds a gratuitous "Wow! - The Wilsons!! Wonderful!!!" element at no extra cost. ;-)

Hamish, I'm sure both nights will be equally as good as one another as the Wilsons are indeed Wonderful !!! Liz's comment sounds like at bit of that northern humour, and I'm sure there was no ill feeling aimed towards Walthamstow.

I didn't really think Liz was being mean. But it's good, this gratuitous thread refreshing lark, isn't it?

Thanks for mentioning Walthamstow Next Sunday Hamish.

It's their first visit to us as a family and we're all looking forward to it. Mike has been a couple of times with Damien though.

Of course Liz probably doesn't know that Hamish has naught to do with W'stow, apart from being a too rare, but always welcome, visitor.

Refresh. We are really looking forward to this night, the Davy lamp is a very big room and some guests do sruggle but I'm sure the Wilsons will have no problems raising the rafters.

You lucky people the Wilsons are Brill. Can't make the Washington club to far, but hopefully we'll get to Walthamtow. We have just found out they were on, so a bit of rearranging to do.

Just catching up on all the mudcat chat! and noticed this. We are really looking forward to tonight at the Davy Lamp, its a few years since the last time we did the club, so it will be good to meet with everyone again. Then down to Walthamstow Sunday, a new club to the family but Mike's been with Damo before and the reports are good! A busy week ahead I think.

Cheers,

Ken.
