Merlin's Keep the legendary North Lincolnshire Folk - Rock combo have pulled out all the stops and got together a charity CD suppoting UNICEF in Haiti.

It contains 19 tracks donated by folk, acoustic and other artists including a number of Mudcatters.

There is a minimum donation of £5 and details of where to order it from can be accessed in this link.

Some really good stuff on it.

I can't believe everyone has ignored this thread and think it is more important to discuss what songs you shouldn't sing in a folk club..... bizarre!

I will try to find out other places the cd is being sold. The more places the CD is available, the better. I haven't collected mine yet but looking forward to hearing it.

No he can't Paul. I only do UK based charities. I leave world disasters to the the big boys and charities such as Oxfam, Unicef Redcross etc. I am sure most people have already donated to those charities.

Actually we tried paying extra but it was no use,they insisted we take the cd.

If you don't particularly want this CD, its also possible to donate directly to the Oxfam or Red Cross Haiti appeals or any number of others - as I'm sure many of us have done.

I think it may just be down to an honest misunderstanding.
I initially assumed from the title that the thread was about the OTHER Haiti charity CD. Perhaps others made the same assumption and just weren't interested in discussing Simon Cowell.

Aw that's a pain, Doug! I couldn't get last night and had assumed that someone from MK was going there with CDs from what was said earlier, here.
I haven't managed to buy one myself yet, but when I do, I will try to get hold of some extras and carry them about to other music events, for anyone who would like to buy one.
