Thank you very much, Meena-Lifshe. You made it look so easy. I'm glad you found us when we needed help. We can often use help on Yiddish songs, so I hope you'll drop in every once in a while.
You'll notice that I added a line in the second and third verses:

[Lomir zikh nisht ayln (let's not hurry)]

Maybe your version doesn't use it, but it's in your first verse and it's in the YouTube recording.
It's a beautiful song, isn't it?

By the way, it seems that it was written in Lithuanian Yiddish, in which sheyn rhymes with kroyn (kreyn), though the link you sent has her singing it in Rumanian Yiddish, I would say.

My Yiddish is not up to the task. When Atochka first posted, I looked through all my CDs and couldn't find a recording of it, let alone one with lyrics in the liner notes. And, like Atochka, I couldn't find anything on the web. Sorry.
