Al O'Donnell (ex Sweeney's men) is our guest on Saturday March 20th in the Strand Hotel, Seafront, Bray at 9.30 pm.

Al is a fine singer, banjo and guitar player and has played at all the major festivals in Ireland and the UK. May even have played some in the US (not sure about that) but he is extremely good and well worth a listen.

Usual format will be utilised. All visiting singers will get an opportunity to sing and listeners are especially welcome.

I really don't know. my associate Alan Stout, who runs the club with me, made this claim and i think he would have checked that with Al. I must give Al a bell and check it out. I will come back and let you know.

Yes is the answer. I just checked out his face book page and he says he spent a year with Sweeney's men but does not say which year.
