Subject: Maine Song Circle On Farm- April 30 From: Cuilionn Date: 09 Apr 10 - 11:09 AM Hello, Folks! On May Day Eve, it seems fitting to celebrate the season with songs and good company. Let us welcome in the May-O (and maybe the mustard and relish, too) with songs of the wild and good green Earth, songs of farms and fields, cows and crofts... and let there be joyous potluckery, assorted acoustic instrumentation, and general merry-making as well! WHEN: Friday, April 30th, 6:00 PM to 11:30ish PM WHERE: Tir na nOg Farm, Pownal, Maine. Weather permitting, we'll gather around a bonfire, but if bugs or weather are bad, we'll head inside. (PM for directions) WHY: Because we can! P.S. Our chickens politely request that no dogs be brought who may be prone to chasing poultry. It addles their eggs! --Cuilionn (a.k.a. The Other Holly) and the Piper, the cows, the pigs, the dog, the cat, and all the little chickens in the garden at Tir na nOg Farm. |

Subject: RE: Maine Song Circle On Farm- April 30 From: jacqui.c Date: 09 Apr 10 - 04:34 PM I'm hoping to be there, maybe with Kendall in tow. We'll leave Seamus home, although I think his chicken chasing days are long gone. I can do pot luck - any suggestions? Inside would be better for me at that time of the evening - I really do have a bad reaction to mosquito bites and they always find me first! |

We're NOT fussy!) --Cuilionn |

Hearty soups, fresh greens, fruit salad, quiches and pies of any type or size... and while I'm dreaming, how 'bout chocolate and single malt whisky? But mostly, we want folks to bring themselves & good (or pleasantly ridiculous) music. Poetry's welcome too! --Cuilionn |
