Subject: Bude (Cornwall) Folk Festival, May 2010 From: Hamish Date: 23 Apr 10 - 10:08 AM Only five weeks until the most wonderful 4th Bude & Stratton Folk Festival: 28-31 May 2010. In a beautiful setting, with lots of marvellous people, it's got to be one of the friendliest festivals ever. With an unbeatable combination of singarounds and concerts, plus a ceilidh and workshops (including [ahem!] a ukulele thrash on Saturday early afternoon) ...and my personal highlight, the Sunday lunchtime shanty sing. Programme to be published shortly, but a sneak preview suggests Les Sullivan, James Findlay, Barrie & Ingrid Temple, Andrew McKay & Carole Etherton, Suntrap, Ned & Dame Patti ...and a Mudgather on Monday. Be there! You'll thank me for the hint: Bude & Stratton Folk Festival 2010 |
