Subject: RE: Pigs Ear Kentish Horse Folk Ale 2010 From: Pigstrings Date: 27 May 10 - 06:12 PM Richard, Tickets should have been with you ages ago - don't know what's gone awry there. No worries I have definitely got the cheque so we'll definitely let you in!! . T shirt to be collected from the "shop", I'll make sure tickets are there for you too. BTW there was an earlier exchange about local shops - I found out last week that Edenbridge Co-op (in its wisdom) is closed for refurbishment from 4 - 7 June. Theres a Tesco Express in Edenbridge High Street and small convenience stores in the garages both ends of town. Farm shop at the Spotted Dog, Penshurst. Sue |

Subject: RE: Pigs Ear Kentish Horse Folk Ale 2010 From: Richard Bridge Date: 27 May 10 - 11:23 AM If some of us tatty aged hippies are not badly behaved I shall be most disappointed. |
Subject: RE: Pigs Ear Kentish Horse Folk Ale 2010 From: The Barden of England Date: 27 May 10 - 10:15 AM I few of us there are 'tatty aged hippies' anyway, so they'll be in good company. I think the leopards are waiting for some good gnus, or a delivery from gnus international. John Barden |
Subject: RE: Pigs Ear Kentish Horse Folk Ale 2010 From: Crow Sister (off with the fairies) Date: 27 May 10 - 09:47 AM I may be accompanied by three tatty aged hippies.. If they are badly behaved they are "nuffin to do wiv me guv!" That'll be my official line anyway. |

Subject: RE: Pigs Ear Kentish Horse Folk Ale 2010 From: Pigstrings Date: 26 May 10 - 05:33 PM Don, Pub is doing breakfasts from 10.00 -ish. Festival song rehearsal 10.30 in the marquee (if anyone's awake); concert starts 11.30 am because we've got a helluva lot to fit in to allow a good concert spot for the Bully Wee Band on Sunday. The official unofficial singaround (???) starts around 7.00 pm because we need to finish at 10.30 sharp on Sunday so Gina and her staff can collapse in an exhausted heap.... But there's really nothing to stop folk gathering in the bar for an unofficial unofficial session during the afternoon. (Except the quality of the concert going on in the marquee, including the aforementioned Bully Wees....) Sue |

Subject: RE: Pigs Ear Kentish Horse Folk Ale 2010 From: Girl Friday Date: 24 May 10 - 08:32 AM Leopards can read, so nowhere is safe. We camp where we want, and we like to be near people in hats. I don't remember when we last rose at 7, and started singing at 8. Probably when Richard camped nearer to our mobile den. Must be 3 years ago. Grrrrr |

Subject: RE: Pigs Ear Kentish Horse Folk Ale 2010 From: Richard Bridge Date: 19 May 10 - 06:28 PM Damn - I knew I should have done that demanded encore last year when I had the chance, although I had timed my slot pretty much to the minute. It would be nice to see the Barden on the stage again though - I always suspected that some dolt got him and me mixed up the first year I did an amplified slot there (the tent was the other way round then) and some well meaning person (ie dolt) said I had a great voice: well, round, grey, guitar, we all look the same don't we. That has never been my claim to fame. |

" You do it so well, Richard.... Seriously - fewer open mic slots with longer for each artist this year. Too rushed last year. But I do have an embarrassment of riches!! |
