Did mention up above that folks can also check out the safra web site on www.safra.org.uk which tells all you need to know cept of course where the driest bit is for pitching your tent - but that won't matter this year cos it's going to be gloriously hot and dry, innit?

Don't tease me!!! I've been the last two years and it's a stunningly great festival: it's got everything! But I can't be there this year...

Enjoy!!!

23 threads on this posting so far and still no dates for this festival!!

It's Friday 16 to Sunday 18 July 2010 folks.

Hope that helps and provides some clarity so people know WHEN to come and put this festival in their diaries.

Must have been an oversight! Just thought I would help out. Doh!

Chris

Methinks the war has started already or at least the opening shots and sharpening up of cross county wit and repartee. Stanley a co. will have to be on't ball this time no dowt about it as the Yorkies will be out for revenge. Can't wait!

Jimmy I believe prays at the alters of St John and St Tetley after trips out with his Black Dog rounding up the Black Sheep from the Flowers bed.

His dog of course is a Pedigree which he has difficulty keeping from the Blonde!

well! Mr Padgett seems to be keeping very close company with the Gentleman who will be the "independant" M.C. It even seems that they pray to the same God together!
Lancastrians redouble your efforts, but if it all goes wrong, I've an inkiling where the trouble may lie!
Back to the cunning schemes board!
Cheers Scowie.

Preparations are well under way in Lancashire, many a cunning and devious plan has been laid before Our Leader Of Men, Mister Sid of Euxton. From all these he will direct, disect, and conduct the ultimate downfall of "Yon Tykes lot" in the War of the Roses contest.
Start saving-up Raymond it looks like the ale's on you! to Hell with the weather!, LANCASHIRE will win, wet or dry!

6 or so weeks and we'll be over there too, wellies and waterproofs at the ready!!! Looking forward to catching up Vin. It'll be brilliant as always - and I/We so hope it isn't the last. Jan and Pete were over in Cottingham recently, - a great night - , and they gave us a mini progress report. God bless the organisers of these events, (and give us 50% more sunshine this year please?)

Well it's June next week which means just 6 or so weeks to Saddleworth (Uppermill) festival - the 13th.

Rumours are a-foot again that it could be the last due to three pretty wet years and recession etc. Lets hope not.

I've camped every year (bar one) and tho it can be grim on the camping field when the elements are cruel it hasn't spoilt the festival for me as most to the music is inside venues.

Always some good stuff for every taste including lots of younger talent on show - check out the web site on www.safra.org.uk

Hope to see y'all there !
