The Traveller's Rest Folk Club ( now at The Crown in Otford), had advertised their annual session outdors as being on July 11th. Very kind of them to hold it on my birthday (so I thought). Unfortunately the pub has booked something else on that day, and the new date is one week from then. Sunday, July 18th. See you all there folks !

This was a very good aftrenoon last year. Otford is easily accessable by train if you want to sample the pubs excellent choice of beers! This is a great pub and the landlord supports a lot of folk acts (i.e. Martin Simpson - who attracted a crowd of 140 in the marquee a few months ago)
The food is good too.

Iam working all night Saturday and finish 7am Sunday morn but I will try to get to Otford because its a great event.

But alas I fear also it may well be over shadowed by the event in Rochester /Gillingham and Chatham?

The Beer Festival is on Friday 16th and Sunday 17th. There is no mention of it for Sunday 18th

Re Beer fest Friday 15th Saturday 16th.

Well if the Beer fest is not running Sunday Sue I can see no reason why we should not get the usual selection of Kent folk and
South East London Folk attending Otford.

If I get a good nights sleep at work Saturday night I may go stright to Otford from work I can shower in the morning before I leave work and change of clothes and I can bring Guitar to work with me on the Saturday. Aim to be there for 12 oclock.

What line is Otford On can I pick it up from Petts Wood?

Or, better still, Pierre, stay on the train to Petts Wood, and get off at the next station which is St Mary Cray. T%akes about 6 minutes to get up to there by car from here.
