When I lived in Bucks in the mid-80's I was invited to a singers night at Bracknell folk club. I have a vague memory that it was in a large house or ex-stately home - I don't think it was in a pub. I was invited by friends in Ascot and they drove me there, so I don't recall the location, other than that it was Bracknell. Is my memory of 25yrs ago playing tricks or have I got the venue right?

Glad it went well, just across the A30 at Jagz one of the jammers who turned up was a teenage guitarist who did the full Hendrix thing (playing with teeth etc.) also played bottleneck & did Chuck's Duck Walk. These takented young performers make me want to go home and burn the washboard (cries of "Yes, please" from my audience!).
