Subject: RE: Bob Zentz looking for Maine venues From: GUEST,gazza2 Date: 26 Jun 10 - 03:11 AM Hi, Helen and I (in Old England) will be visiting New York and New England that week. Any more information on seeing Bob would be greatly appreciated. Where is Bath? Any other venues arranged yet? |
Subject: RE: Bob Zentz looking for Maine venues From: Charley Noble Date: 26 Jun 10 - 10:01 AM Gazza- Bath is about 90 minutes up the coast of Maine from the New Hampshire border. But do a search for the Maine Maritime Museum and print out a map. Cheerily, Charley Noble |
Subject: RE: Bob Zentz looking for Maine venues From: GUEST,gazza2 Date: 09 Jul 10 - 02:59 PM Hi Charley, We are keen to come to the Bath Maritime Museum show on August 15th, but the lovely lady on the phone number you gave us did not have any information about it. Can I just confirm with you that Bob Zentz is definitely on that evening? Also any recommendations on bed and breakfast places to stay the night would be gratefully received. We are looking for cheap and cheerful, having blown most of the holiday money on outrageous hotels in Boston! Gazza2 |
Subject: RE: Bob Zentz looking for Maine venues From: kendall Date: 09 Jul 10 - 03:45 PM I'm not surprised that the people on the desk didn't know anything. I asked them why the Maine lobsterman exhibit no longer had a talking wooden fisherman and they didn't know it ever did! |
Subject: RE: Bob Zentz looking for Maine venues From: kendall Date: 09 Jul 10 - 03:47 PM To all hands, don't miss this wonderful performer. He is amazing. Never saw anyone but him play the harmonica and the concertina at the same time. We will be there. |
Subject: RE: Bob Zentz looking for Maine venues From: Charley Noble Date: 09 Jul 10 - 09:39 PM Kendall- I do think we're finally on the official MMM website. It should be a splendid evening. Long Reach Hall is a great space for a concert. The rest of the Maine Maritime Museum is well worth a look. We're also planning to auction off all of Bob's instruments at the end of the concert! Cheerily, Charley Noble |
Subject: RE: Bob Zentz looking for Maine venues From: Celtaddict Date: 09 Jul 10 - 10:18 PM If you auction ALL of them, it should make the MMM admirably better funded than most museums! |
Subject: RE: Bob Zentz looking for Maine venues From: Charley Noble Date: 09 Jul 10 - 10:26 PM Celtaddict- Especially if you trek up to Maine and attend the concert. We might even take you out afterwards for a Guinness at the local Irish pub. Charley Noble |

Subject: RE: Bob Zentz looking for Maine venues From: Charley Noble Date: 10 Jul 10 - 09:22 AM Kendall- We'd never try something like that on you. You're much too leery. Cheerily, Charley Noble |
