Advance date for your diaries! Andy Irvine is at Four Fools folk club, Worthington,near Standish, Lancashire on 18th October. Tickets are £8 if bought in advance (£12 if you see him at Liverpool Phil!) or £10 on the door.

Doors open 7.30 and concert starts at 8pm prompt (finish will be at 11pm). Tickets are available now and Angie and Ken expect them to go really fast. (Who wants to be stuck with hundreds of others in Liverpool Phil when you can see Andy Irvine at a great pub with great beers and excellent company?!)

I phoned up for tickets. The lady on the other end said, 'I'm afraid we only have limited visibility'. I said, 'What does that mean?' She said 'It means he's not much to look at'.

I'm really looking forward to seeing Andy at the club. He has been a long time favourite of mine. Roll on Monday 18 October.

This club books some great traditional guests. Future names include Janet Russell and Sandra Kerr (Sat 20 November special day); Sara Grey and Kieron Means; Donal Maguire; Joe Aiken; All this plus great real ale (and even B&B if you want to do it in style).

guest chris, i havent sen Rob Mckie for many years, I am not sure if he is still alive, neither nigel pickles or steve dickinson, the other members of the NMECQ have heard from him either.

Just refreshing this thread. We are really looking forward to seeing Andy at our little club on 18 October. Its going to be a great night. With support from John Murphy and Tony Gibbons we're in for a treat.
