Any idea what melody is used with this? I've known it as a poem derived from old English which my high school English teacher recited for us in old English. I was impressed. well, maybe it was middle English, it certainly wasn't modern. I'd like it if someone could provide an older form of this child, and if possible explain the dialect's pronunciation and meaning. I suppose I could try the library, but that would be work, and I still wouldn't know how to pronounce it.
