The provisional program is attached - some editorial details follow:
Fri afternoon - lunch with Peggy Seeger followed by a concert £15 inc lunch - book in advance through Upton TIC [e-mail] or 01684 594200

Fri evening - Bones is a local folky sort of pub band
The clog workshop is beginners
Folk Club Open Mic is
sat   2pm - 5pm kevin haycox open mic
      5pm - 8pm   john benbow open mic
      8pm - (tired) Ceilidh with Captain Swing caller Mike Griffiths
      8pm - 11pm bill obrien hosts rea river roots (tower of song)
sun   2pm - 5 pm   phil & marilyn host folk at the oak (Tettenhall wood)
       5pm - end kevin and john open mic

Saturday evening concert headlines Keith Donnelly and Johnny Coppin

Sunday afternoon concert features Claret

Sunday evening concert features Sean Cannon (Dubliners), Murphy's Marbles and Irish Bingo

Rickshaw Brides are a local pub cover band (non folky)
Bandj are a local school non-folk group.

Tickets for Kings Head Concerts and dance - Afternoon £7.50, evening £10 minimum donation

There is also a concert on saturday afternoon featuring some very good people, Mick Holditch, Portlock and Thorpe,Roy Clinging.

What a great evening! This kind of event should become a regular occurrence. Loxley had a lovely time and look forward to Upton Festival in May.

I was seriously considering honouring the weekend with MY presence but had a VERY late confirmation of a Pencil for Saturday AND Sunday
