Just received a message from Jeannie McLerie of Bayou Seco. They were with us in July and we had no idea that this was in the offing. The first part of her email reads:-

Hi all - Ken had his prostate surgery today and did great!!! It was laprocsopic. The clever surgeon was able to navigate around the hernia scar tissue and one of the hernia screens! Whew!!!! We'll be home Friday even if he gets out tomorrow, because the release time would be 4 PM and it is a 3 hour drive so that is too long a day for both of us. We can stay here at La Quinta another night. I didn't sleep last night for worrying, and we got up at 4:30 AM to get him registered.

I'm sure their many friends on both sides of the Atlantic would appreciate your good wishes. They are at BayouSeco@aol.com

I hope it all works out well for Ken. Enjoyed seeing them in Tucson, Arizona, in June. I know they're involved with a music gathering just this weekend in Silver City, New Mexico (home for them) that a number of Tucson people are heading over to.

Get well soon Ken, my best healing wishes to you. I very much enjoyed seeing them here in London (UK) at Sharps a few years ago, talented and entertaining folks that they are.
Micca

Ken has just posted to the American Museum in Britain thread, so presumably he is OK and at home again.

Best wishes to Ken, we had great fun at Llantrisant Folk Club a year or so ago. And even longer ago at Sidmouth.
