My wife and I are going to go exploring Devon and Cornwall over the next couple of weeks and wonder of anyone can recommend some places to go. We tend to like singarounds though not averse to sitting up front and playing a few songs.

Going to stay in Weston Super Mare on Monday 20th and then head to Exmoor for Tuesday and stay somewhere round there.

Lynne wants to go to the Eden Project so we'll get there Wednesdayish.

Then on down along the coast towards or into Cornwall round Thursday or so. And then on towards St Agnes and St Ives and down towards Mousehole and a revisit to the Minack theatre.

If anyone can recommend anywhere to stop for a sing and play along the way somewhere on or off this track it would be helpful! We don't have to be anywhere at any particular time so we are quite free to do as we wish.

I presume that B&Bs are reasonably empty at this time of year and accommodation is easy to find - any info helps as we have few concrete plans apart from to enjoy the journey, have a walk and a relax and perhaps a tune and a song or two.

Thanks Sue - I'll no doubt always be in the wrong place on the wrong day but there we go. Thanks for the help

Nick

Thanks for the plug, Rafflesbear - we look forward to seeing you again. I was just about to reply to Nick saying he would be very welcome at Bideford on Thursday, when I saw you'd given us a mention first.

It's a singaround and I'm MC this week. "Anything goes" - but songs/tunes vaguely related to autumn or harvest time would be especially appropriate.

Nick, we'd love to see (& hear!) you & your wife if you've not already disappeared into Cornwall. We usually start singing about 8.10 in the upstairs room at the Joiners.

Sue
