The folk trio, 'Kinsfolk' were active in the folk scene back in the mid 1970's until I did a foolish thing and got a job down in Slough. Thanks to the internet after 34 years, I was able to track down Roy and Louise and we have reformed the group, if only for a few 'fun' bookings. We still sing the songs we sang then, straight from the later days of the 'folk revival;' the songs that were heard a lot back then but rarely appear these days.

After the booking at Herga Folk Club that nearly was, back in July, folk trio 'Kinsfolk' will be appearing at the club next Monday (27th September, 2010) at Herga Folk Club, at Pinner Green Social Club,
Rickmansworth Road, Pinner, Middlesex HA5 3TJ. Visit Herga's web site. and the club!

This 'mini tour' continues on Thursday 30th September 2010 when we will be appearing at Maidenhead Folk Club, at The Seven Stars, Knowl Hill, RG10 9UR on the A4 between Maidenhead and Reading.   Maidenhead Folk Club Web Page

Here's hoping to see a lot of old friends at these two clubs who, I know, enjoy nothing more than a good sing!

Haven't made it to Herga this evening, because of a work engagement, but am certainly intending to get there next Monday!
