Celtic Connections 2011 takes place from Thursday 13th - Sunday 30th January 2011

The press launch is on Tuesday 19 October in the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.

Celtic Music Radio will be covering the launch live.


9:45am Introduction by Jade Hewat, Celtic Connections Festival Manager
9:50am Councillor George Redmond, Chair of Glasgow Life
9:55am Ann Loughrey, Head of CSR for ScottishPower, Celtic Connections Principal Sponsor
10:00am Artistic Director Donald Shaw announces the programme for the 2011 festival

It's now looking likely that we'll be able to deliver a live video stream of the launch as well as the audio broadcast. Full details will be on the Celtic Music Radio website before the event.

The Danny Kyle Open Stage slots are always oversubscribed - 5 or 6 performers/bands each night for 2 weeks.

I recently became interested in the Celts after having had a couple of excellent Celtic design tattoos. I also came across a website which is totally Celtic related. I thought I would post it while going through the Celtic groups.
