The superb BBC Young Folk Musician Award finalist, Lucy Ward, has just announced that she has been signed up by Navigator Records, home to the likes of Chris Wood and Bellowhead. Her new CD is being produced by Stu Hannah of Megson and will be out in May next year.

Personally. I can't wait - a new Lucy CD has been a long time coming and is sure to be fantastic.

Yes, please all come along to Gainsborough Folk Club on Friday 17th Dec to see Lucy - we'd love to meet you all. Doors open 8.15pm. Tickets £5 (£3 members).

You may even be treated to the odd mince pie (especially if I've had to bake them!).
