Subject: The Claque At Bideford. From: GUEST,Jim Redfern Date: 25 Jan 11 - 05:47 AM A rare chance to see this superb group at Bideford Folk Club on Thursday 3rd. Someone needs to persuade them to get out more-I have never heard a more exciting traditional group and they are extremely funny and natural on stage to go with it. Highly recommended. |

Subject: RE: The Claque At Bideford. From: Richard Bridge Date: 25 Jan 11 - 08:32 AM I like them a lot. At times I think they could be a bit more aggressive but interpretation is so much a matter of taste. |

Subject: RE: The Claque At Bideford. From: Sue the Borderer Date: 03 Feb 11 - 11:33 AM Indeed, I am looking forward to a huge treat in just a few hours time! I shall be at Bideford tonight - I'd better be, cos I'm MC for the evening. I've not been on Mudcat for a while - so special thanks to Jim for starting the thread to give this evenings performance some added publicity. (Rather belatedly I can tell you that it's at 8.00pm at the Joiners Arms, Bideford, North Devon) Sue |
