Good Company (Ohio country/swing band)

Any info on the whereabouts of the members of the country/swing band Good Company from Kent Ohio in the 1970's. The only member I've heard of is Mary Dushane. She played with the Powdermilk Biscuit Band on Prairie Home Companion. TER [e-mail]

My husband and I have a "single" made by the Good Company - we used to spend many happy hours at the Water Street Saloon. Don't know what happened to the members of the band though.

The Water Street Saloon is long gone but the memories linger. There were two groups of us who competed for requests. I was part of the "play Six Days on The Road" group, whereas the other group demanded, "play Portland Woman." When I transferred to UCLA, my friends splurged and bought me a Good Company T-shirt which I cherished and still have framed in my guitar room!

Came accross this great story from Jason Prufer. I was gone by '75 but the story is chock full of Water Street memories!

Spent many nights downtown Kent at the Water Street Saloon listening to Good Company. Still have a poster of them and their mini 33 1/3rpm record. Side one; On My Own, That Same Old Story and side two; Rutabaga Boogie.
Good Company consisted of; Perry Bocci (I believe deceased), Mary DuShane, Charlie Palace, Rick Shore, Gerry Simon and Bob Smith.
