Maidenhead Folk Club are very pleased to announce that our Old Mate, Colm McCabe, after a lifetime in Folk Music, has finally got around to making a CD! Not a Nationally Known Figure but a well known and well loved man with a lovely guitar and a voice like melted chocolate!

Just seen this thread ! Colm is indeed an excellent performer - And he had enough sense NOT to ask me to do any backing on the CD !

I agree with leadfingers, specially about not inviting him to play backing ;) The CD is brilliant, a great selection of good songs and performed in Colm's wonderful understated style. Yes, melted chocolate is just how I would describe his voice. Do buy it. M
