I only got there for 1 day (Saturday) but it was thoroughly enjoyable. Tried a lot more singing than I ever do elsewhere - great fun.

Despite being totally abandoned on Sunday (Except for a nice natter over a pint with Badger and Tig I had a nice peaceful night on my own in the field

Excellent weekend, excellent singing and playing, Shanty Annas out in full force. Good location, warm welcome from landlady, and a barmaid in the true tradition. Delicious chilli Sat night. Weather great, it only rained twice; when we were pitching and striking camp!

Badger and I finally made it there for about 3 o'clock Sunday - to find you had all gone :-(

Geoff and Jane were just hitching the caravan so saw them and had a couple of pints with lone survivor Leadfingers. Sounds as though you had a great weekend.

Great day on Saturday, thanks to the Duck Family and all present. I was entertained all day by some great singers and musicians. Thanks again for the welcome, not knowing anyone there, in person rather than by their Mudcat name, did not detract from my very enjoyable day.The chance to sing in such good company was appreciated.
Hope the rest of the weekend goes as well, off to my usual Sunday evening Folk Club, at the Red Lion at Wath, tonight full of stories of my day with you all.

We got back an hour ago - Kendall was getting a headache so we came home.

It was great to catch up with old friends and make some new ones. Some amazingly good music - I wish I'd taken a recorder to steal some songs. Lady P sang a 16th century song I would love to get to learn - it was wonderful.

I wish that we could have stayed longer, maybe another time. Many thanks to Leadfingers for the loan of musical instruments during the afternoon and to Mrs Duck for all the organisation. The Ducklings did a great job running the tombola and raffle. Maddy was our personal barmaid - it took a while to realise who she was, she certainly has grown up.

Jacqui -- was looking forward to seeing you again -- and finally getting to meet Kendall, but more pressing obligations have meant I can't get there for Saturday. Ah well... had a lovely session tonight, and really enjoyed getting to see -- and hear! -- some Catters I've known by name only up until this evening.

If I'm not too knackered from the unusually packed week I've had, will try to get there for Sunday late morning/early afternoon. Even if there's no singing at that point, it'll be an opportunity to chat with people...

Shame you can't manage Saturday, Vicki. Hard to say which would be best. I hope we will get going on Friday evening between 8 and 9 or earlier if enough people have arrived. Sunday afternoon some could be packing up. I'd probably go for Friday.
Geoff and I will be taking our van over on Thursday but won't actually be resident until Friday afternoon hopefully middayish but that depends on whether I get called to work (can't turn it down)

Have been and will be working away from home. Return from work Friday night, going to work Sunday afternoon.
What is the earliest time I should arrive Saturday. With a little luck I will get dropped off, have a few drinks a listen and with a bit of luck (for me that is) a sing. Its not too far to walk home. Is there food at lunch and in the evening? If so I would like some please.
