just to let singers / players know we have started a new singaround club at the Godley hall inn (behind kerry foods aka walls foods) in Godley hyde cheshire every monday night from 9ish Alan the landlord has knocked 50p off a pint of beer to help with the singing ,so if you are in the area please come down and join in

yes it is on Easter monday, hope to see you there it is a tad tricky to find head for Godley, hyde to Godley train station turn up the side road as the signs will then show you the way . thanks for your interest    mike m

i am trying to get our new sing around established, there must be around 60 to 100 thousand
people living in the local area of Hyde Denton Glossop and so on ,
who just don't know that they can just come along and play sing do a monologue any ideas on how to get new people through the door ?

Suggestion, include the full postal address, post code (for people with sat-nav's) the pub's phone number (your email address) ask Ali to mention it on Oldham Community Radio. Also, try and get a mention on other local radio shows (if there are any) and get other club organisers to mention it.

Our sing around is every Monday night including Bank Holidays and starts about 8.45 till 12 ish.
its a small and very informal gathering any sort of acoustic music is welcome .we even had a version of
Albion by Babyshambles last week. i just want any one who calls in to have a really good night
