If you enjoy singing, don't miss your chance to sing in the Hull Freedom Chorus and perform at the Freedom Festival in September 2011.

Hull Freedom Chorus is a massed choir bringing together a range of people over the age of 14 who enjoy singing. You can take part in the choir whatever your singing ability - whether you already sing in a choir, enjoy karaoke singing or you sing in the shower!

The choir will sing a varied programme of songs expressing freedom, led by inspiring singing leader Em Whitfield Brooks.

We're aiming for up to 200 people to join the Chorus and sing at the Freedom Festival – can you help us achieve our goal?

I can't join myself, because there's an ocean in the way. However, I encourage anyone who can to join the group. Joining a choral group is a good way to improve one's singing.
