I've recently discovered singer/piano player Claire Tomlinson ( you can hear some audio clips of her at Cdbaby).
Going from her listening experience, in her brief biog, I would guess she must be in her 70s now.
She had some lessons from Dave Van Ronk.
She sings a mixture of old country and blues tunes with a few more modern things thrown in. I think she's great.
Amazingly, doing a Google search on her reveals hardly anything.
Have any Mudcatters out there seen her perform and/or know anymore about her?

I've just listened to the clips at cdbaby. Very interesting! Her singing reminds me of the McGarrigle Sisters. I'm surprised that I haven't come across her before.
