Bukka White...'Cal'donia'?

My friend Doug Austin called today and we got talking about the times when Bukka White used to play Toronto. Doug said that Bukka told him something surprising. Bukka claimed to have written "Caldonia" (and sung it for Doug) and said he'd been ripped off. Now I (like most catters I guess) know that song as a Louis Jordan number, and can't picture more than a fragment being even in Bukka's style. When I told Doug (who's computerless) that Mudcatters are amazing and the true poop will probably come out here, he was amazed. Hope someone can help with info.
