We're running a tune workshop at the Hive in Shrewsbury, Shropshire next Sunday (3rd July) from 11 till 5. We will be playing tunes from the beginners and improvers tunebooks at www.tuneworks.co.uk, and 3-5 will be a ceilidh where workshop attendees will provide the music. The workshop costs £5 and entry to the ceilidh is free. Details of where to buy tickets at www.tuneworks.co.uk as well.
Also just a short notice as you've read this far, for anyone planning on attending the Tuneworks sessions at Shrewsbury Folk Festival this year, there will be an extra session on Friday 26th August from 4-5.30 at the Bird in Hand Pub (near the festival site) to there's plenty of time to get your tent set up before getting a tune in!
