Subject: Who's worth seeing this year? From: GUEST,Fyldeplayer Date: 26 Jul 11 - 11:53 AM Looking thru the Sidmouth fest prog I realised how few 'now' performers I am aware of. Who is newly established/emerging that people like, people who are actually making and selling CDs etc. I'm looking forward to seeing several young acts at Sidmouth, but who should I look out for at other festivals and on club lists. I have broad tastes if its done well - acapella thru to stunning (but tasteful) playing. Examples I have seen in last couple of years - Baron Brady, Megan Henwood, Dyer and Swan, I have a lot of catching up to do! Ta in advance |

Brim-full of inventive instrumental arrangements and some cracking songs. Also Pilgrims Way, their CD is just out - again, good tunes and songs, well-arranged. |

I forgot to mention Katriona Gilmore, who is now part of the Albion line-up. Don't miss her with Jamie Roberts or Gerry McNiece - or the many other fine Yorkshire musicians she plays with. |
