Well, the Show of Hands set was FANTASTIC!!!!

They're just saying they've got folks watching around the planet! I've just sent an email to them telling them I've got friends in the USA watching.

This is the MOST fabulous idea! EVERY Folk Concert should do this, it's sensational!!

Very good. Still broadcasting now- must be a very late night concert at 1.15am!

Would be even better if there was a programme so we know who is performing.

Yes.... it seems they are broadcasting recorded items inbetween live items; but it doesn't tell you which- it always says 'Live' at the top.

I don't mind if it's not live at the moment. We have just been driven indoors by hamering rain and now mesmerised by Chris Woods and Andy Cutting.
A very brave step to broadcast free what a lot of people are paying for. But we all know there is nothing like being there. And this makes me miss being there even more!!!

That was a lovely finish to the festival; the Oyster band and all their guests on stage with Steve Knightley (a Patron of the festival) and the Surteeses, all singing 'Bright Morning Star' unaccompanied.

Are they going to archive some of the gigs, I wonder.....?

I bloomin' well fell asleep in the garden earlier, so I missed Reg Meuross and half the Oysterband too...and Martyn Joseph a few days back, as I couldn't get Adobe to upgrade enough.

Curses and triple curses! I can't believe I did that! LOL   

But yes, it was a lovely ending. And Steve Knightley has joined John Jones in becoming a Patron of the Festival now too.

Fantastic, a big thank you to all involved in what seemed a great event, just sorry I had to miss it live this year but being able to see it live online was the next best thing.   Cathy

Recordings from the main stage are being spooled round here
although it doesn't seem to be working at the moment :-(

There's been no feedback from the organisers since September 2nd so far as I can find. Loads before the event but silence since then, on this site or Facebook. Can anyone throw any light on this? What's happened to Guest Sandra?
