Last night I turned up at the Exmouth Arms, near Euston, for the last of the 'Summer Season' singarounds which replaced the regular Tuesday night sings at C# House. I was made welcome, but I arrived mid-sing - I knew I was in the right place when I heard "Roll Down" from the other side of the street! - and didn't really get a chance to talk to anyone.

So this is to say hello and thanks to anyone who was there last night - it was a good do. Hopefully our paths will cross again!

Hi Pip,

Glad you could make it, and thanks for your songs -- it was a good night.

I was pleased to see a couple of the bar staff come up and see what we get up to. When I was leaving, I spoke briefly to the younger guy and he said it had brought a tear to his eye (in a good way!).

Will you be back soon?

I don't know when I'll be visiting London again, but I'll keep an eye on what's going on at C# House (or not). It was a good night, with some singers I'd like to hear more of.
