Usually a session on a Monday evening in the Kings Arms Hotel. I played there a few times. Not sure if the Thursday session is still on in The Watermans Arms. Nick Jones and Jon Pickles played in both venues, two great guys.

South Brent is quite close. There's a sing-around in the Packhorse on Tuesday and a session with songs in The Royal Oak on Wednesday and Thursday.

The Packhorse singaround is fortnightly, and as far as I know the next one will be Tuesday 13th. The general session on a Wednesday is weekly (more instrumental than song, though). The Thursday session is monthly one and will be on the 15th - again, it's mainly a music session with the occasional song. Usually we get some good musicians there.

In Totnes, there's an unaccompanied song session in the back bar of the Albert, Bridgetown every Wednesday. Very low-key and small-scale, but you'd be very welcome.

You could pop down to Denbury on Thursday evening to the session (mostly song) at the Union Inn where there is always a great welcome to those passing through.

Thanks for all your help. I printed it off and put it in my guitar case and then left the guitar at home. Had a great time though, but missed the music
