Subject: RE: 'No Worries' at Good Intent 11th Oct From: Don(Wyziwyg)T Date: 12 Oct 11 - 06:09 AM And an excellent evening of song guitar and bodhran playing was exactly what we got. Brian and Marion put together a themed performance, taking an enthusiastic audience through the seasons of the year in a delightful admixture of nostalgia and lighthearted humour. The support act, "Octopus Tree", was a revelation. I can't remember, in more than fifty years involvement in folk music and song, having seen a group of that size so tight and cohesive on their public performance debut. Altogether a bloody fine evening, and another feather in the cap of the Good Intent. Don T. |

And looking ahead, we have the inimitable Pig's Ear for our concert night in December (Tuesday,13th.). Christmas songs galore! |
