Subject: RE: live music on PaLTALK From: Geoff the Duck Date: 11 Nov 11 - 06:39 PM Hi Frank. Long time since we last did he paltalk thing. Not geared up for it these days. Computer in wrong location and too knackered for the late night time difference between UK and USA. It used to be fun. Hope you get some visitors. Quack! Geoff. |
Subject: RE: Live music on PaLTALK From: Susan of DT Date: 11 Nov 11 - 07:45 PM It would be a good idea to announce this a day or two ahead, so people can see it and plan to be there. We are about to eat dinner and it is three hours since you said you were there, so I suspect you are not there any more. Will need to update paltalk... |

Subject: RE: any interest in a paltalk room for acous From: Joe Offer Date: 10 Mar 12 - 03:55 AM I used to love the PalTalk singarounds we used to have. I didn't know PalTalk was still available. That sounds like fun. Count me in, if it's a time when I'm available. -Joe- |
Subject: RE: any interest in a paltalk room for acous From: Susan of DT Date: 10 Mar 12 - 07:07 AM We need to have regular times, so people (1) know when to expect it without having to check mudcat at just the right time to see that it is there, and (2) can plan to be available then. Timing is tricky, since we are all over the world. My two favorite people to encounter on paltalk or hearme were in England and New Zealand. Let's try a few times and see what works. Since I am retired, my time is mostly flexible, but I need to know in advance to be there. I have not been on Paltalk in a while and will probably have to reinstall it. I hope it does not get onto the start menu again - that is a real nuisance. There was some talk several months ago about doing this on google plus, plus nothing developed. |

Subject: RE: Live music on PaLTALK From: katlaughing Date: 11 Mar 12 - 11:28 PM We were still out, after a late luncheon, so missed it. Sunday afternoons are a really good time for us, though, usually. |
Subject: RE: Live music on PaLTALK From: Sandy Mc Lean Date: 12 Mar 12 - 10:42 PM I guess I'll have to re-install PalTalk. I couldn't get it to leave the start menue so I dumped it a year or two ago. On Sunday afternoons here (Atlantic Time Zone) 4 hours west of Greenwich I am often playing away from home but I am guessing that Toledo is +6 Greenwich so I will try and catch a part. |
