I hope skarpi doesn't mind me doing this. I didn't ask for his permission (sue me). You should hear some of the other tunes by skarpi and by the band. Great stuff.

Phew! Got a PM... he laughed.

I just wish you all could hear some of his stuff... this guy is good and so is the band he is in. Hopefully, he will post some links.

Seriously, skarpi has talent. You already know the band has talent.

Gnu, can you tell us which one is Skarpi in those photos?

I really enjoyed the music in that clip. Thanks for posting it!

I can not claim one favorite among the many fine selections on "This Is Us", but Rósin okkar is definitely one of my top favorites. Thanks, gnu, and thanks Skarpi and the rest of the crew you make music with. Awesome to listen.

Which one is Skarpi? If you look at the names of the band members and their instruments at the beginning of the video, you might be able to figure that out. I won't say, though, because maybe I have drawn the wrong conclusion!

That's him on the bodhran, and the Taylor 12 string with the cutaway.
He's a dark horse my friend Skarpi, that's a great group they have.
Skarpi's been through some tough times recently, and he seems to be coming through the other side of all the shit now.
Well done my friend.

Allll the posts ring true. Tough times, big time... you bet! Resilience and a positive attitude... you bet! Good musicianship and singing... oh yeah. Skarpi and the entire band are top notch. Not to mention he's just a real nice guy. Well, except for the eating rotten shark thing eh? >;-)

If I didn't have it loaded into my PC, I'd've worn out their first CD. I love their music!!

I believe there's a second one in progress, but Skarpi will confirm if this is so. I have my name down for the first copy!
