I've just seen this thread and add my best thoughts and prayers to jane, nigel and ann for what they are all going through. I found the support I got from catters and f/b friends when my brother was so ill helped so much. My sister in law was astonished that so many peoople were praying for him. I'ts like a warm blanket flowing over you.

We are 'hangin' in'...just...each in our own particular way. For Ann & I, one of the hardest things is just getting on with the daily chores. The laundry piles up, the dusting doesn't get done, sink's full of washing up. All these humdrum activities simply fade into the background...our every waking thought & every ounce of energy occupied by Life's greatest challenge.

In spite of all our prayers, some days are bound to be worse than others. I hope all our prayers mean that there will be fewer bad days. I'm sorry that this was one of them. And I'm still praying.
