Thanks Bruce...now we know things are in good hands. And continuing thanks to all of you who are staying with this thread. Jane starts her chemo this coming Monday. Six sessions spread over 18 weeks. She remains incredibly positive which is a great credit to her. I would be falling apart by now!

I only saw this thread this afternoon. Today will have been the first day of chemo. Nigel and Ann, may the healing hand of the Almighty be on your child Jane, particularly during the next 18 weeks. I intend to keep her and you very much in my daily devotions.

Nigel, in a posting of 18 Jan 2012 you told a friend (Tom) of the illness of your wife's daughter and of your having to care for grandchildren. Am I to presume that it was Jane you were there talking about and that the grandchildren in question are her children? I post this with the good intention of giving more of an identity to the main person for whom we are all praying.

Oh, you are right, Manuel! I read 999's post very literally and thought he'd "stopped In" at the home of someone who had good news and told that person he hoped everything was going well. On rereading his comment I guess he meant he was "stopped in" at Mudcat. Sigh. Regardless, prayers continue! (This is what happens when I read and post at 11:18 PM.)
