Almost the only songs I know by Mudcatters are my own songs...and I'd not be lying to say they are among my favorites. There'd be no point listing their titles, though, because hardly any of you have ever heard them.

As for other Mudcatters' songs I have heard that aren't mine, and are among my favorites:

"I'm At The Mercy of Your Smile" - Bruce Murdoch

I play that song everywhere I go these days.

I should probably think about this for a long time, but some that come to mind immediately are:

"Better Than Me" by Ron Horvarth (Dharmabum)

"Porchlight Blues" by Steve Lee Rich

"The Green Heart of Harlow" by Kevin McGrath

"Old Blue Suit" by Jerry Rasmussen.

Somehow I failed to mention khandu's "Dirt Road Shoes" and any number of beautiful songs by Jed Marum - in particular "The Streets of Falls River"... This is just impossible...

Oh yeah, Rick Fielding! I loved all his songs. He's one of the few Mudcatters I've had the pleasure to see playing his music in offline 3-D reality.
