Subject: RE: Chord Req: ToEachandEveryone by Gerry Rafferty From: maeve Date: 04 Mar 12 - 06:01 AM Give it a little time, Jason. The weekend response time on Mudcat is a little slower than on weekdays. I'm sure someone has just what you need and will be along to lend a hand. It's the chords and capo position you need? I see there is at least one video available; are you trying to transcribe the arrangement from that or from an audio recording? |

Subject: ADD: To Each and Everyone by Gerry Rafferty From: GUEST,999 Date: 04 Mar 12 - 07:51 AM TO EACH AND EVERYONE (Gerry Rafferty) To each and everyone of you I say goodbye, farewell, of you To each and all I say goodbye I know it's been fun but we're living a lie You said you spoke straight from the heart But that was the one thing that kept us apart 'Cause when I read between the lines I saw that the only heart speaking was mine To each and everyone of you I say goodbye, indeed I do If you should ask me why I go I wouldn't say 'cause you should know When everything is said and done Nothing's been lost and nothing's been won I took from you, you took from me But I suppose that's how it had to be |

Subject: RE: Chord Req: To Each and Everyone by Gerry Rafferty From: GUEST,999 Date: 05 Mar 12 - 02:20 PM Thanks, Maeve. I have forwarded music and lyrics to a good friend who plays in standard tuning. Finding the chords in the open tuning I use on a guitar that is a tone below standard A-440 and requires a capo to get into Rafferty's key presents a degree of difficulty beyond me at the moment. However, Jason, hang tough. We'll get the chords for you. Transposition to the key of your choice is the least of the problems right now. |
