Easter is coming early for Herga this year and the Easter Bunny is bringing a pair of special eggs for us:

Dave Webber & Anni Fentiman
Monday 19th March at 8pm
Herga, Pinner Green Social Club
Rickmansworth Road
HA5 3TJ

Of course, Dave and Anni need no introduction for the stalwart Herga-ites, having been Herga members themselves in the 90s and early "naughties". But you may also know them from their incessant touring of clubs and festivals both in the UK and abroad. At the very least, you are bound to have heard one or other of Dave's wonderful songs, sung by so many – Dave is this country's foremost songwriter "in the tradition". But we know that the best way to enjoy this blessed union of NorthEast and South West is up close and personal, as it surely will be on Monday. We would love them anyway for their wonderful work. Being "of our own" just makes their presence amongst us that much more special.

If you have ever heard them, you won't want to miss them. If you have not, you owe it to yourselves to be there!

I just spoke to Anni - they both had colds, though Anni weathered hers better than Dave. But they're in London at the moment and they 're hoping to improve in time for Horsham tomorrow. As for Herga, they will be there anyway on Monday and hopefully Dave will have improved enough to give the full show.

Not just singers... we had some tunes from Tim and Susan too!

To clarify, Dave and Anni came along to meet up with their many friends at the club but they decided not to sing at all this evening rather than croak at us, so we had an Open Night, and good fun it was too.

We'll be getting Dave and Anni back to perform on another evening once they've recovered their singing voices.

Yes, we will be getting Dave and Anni back soon. sad that it was they could not sing for us we made the best of it with an inpromptue Open Night and hope that the people who had travelled far to see them enjoyed the night for all that
