Sad news I'm afraid, John Malcolm (Christmas John) lost his battle long with cancer last Thursday. A long time member of Stevenage Sword and staunch supporter of straw bears in both Whittlesey and Walldurn. We are just glad he made it to Whittlesey this year but he did not manage Walldurn. He will be sadly missed. No doubt tales of his adventures in Padstow, Whittlesey and Walldurn will be retold and enhanced whenever his old comrades meet and his memory will stay with us for a long long time. Our thoughts are with May (his wife) and family at this time. Brian and Christine

So sorry to hear this news. We regularly met John in Padstow and had many laughs and drinks together. Our thoughts are with May and his family. We remember a good friend.
