After a short illness,peacefully in hospital,Pauline Greenwood of Stainland Halifax passed away on the 15th of April.Pauline stewarded at many festivals notably Holmfirth,Shepley, Cleckheaton and Whitby.A special friend to Gordon and Anne Jackson and good friend to many others especially when a friend was needed,our thoughts are with Amanda and Bill ,funeral arrangements to be advised later.

Condolences to the family and Gordon and Anne. Pleasant memories of Pauline, mainly at Whitby, in the Fring Events and the quizzes we did.

So sorry to hear this sad news. Pauline was always a cheerful and supportive Steward at Whitby Folk Week particulary for the popular events held in the lecture theatre at Whitby Museum - a task she loved doing and did very well. For several years she also made up the bouquets for the top not on the Garland. Our thoughts are with her family and good friends Gordon and Anne.

Paulines funeral will take place at Park Wood Crematoria in Elland nr Halifax HX5 9HZ at 1-30 pm on Monday 30th April. It will be a Humanist style committal. Per Pauline's request, please wear bright colours and no flowers required - a tray for donations will be available after the service.
