Subject: Morris for the young?

Did any of you see Boggarts Breakfast on ZingZillas yesterday?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01h8qv2/ZingZillas_Series_4_The_Little_Pigs_Saved_the_Day/

It was great - aimed at small people but one of the best showings of morris dancing NOT being for grumpy old men that I have ever seen. Treat yourself to seeing morris dancing in a new light.

I won't tell on you for enjoying it :-)

If somebody could do a blue clicky it would help please.

Be warned!
If you start at the beginning and let it run, there's around 3 minutes of CBeebies to put up with before you get to Boggarts Breakfast. As good as Boggarts Breakfast are, it's a lot to endure unless your one of the small people that the programme is aimed at.

Enjoyed the dance, though. I'll make sure my grandchildren watch it as they love CBeebies.

I think one was the Sportsman's Hornpipe.

If I see any stray Boggarts this weekend I'll ask them for you. But don't miss out on all the programme - that's how little ones learn these days!

Yes, the first one was the dance "Poaching" to the tune "The Sportsman's Hornpipe" (http://www.boggartsbreakfast.org.uk/wp/?p=300)

The second one was the dance "Tinner's Rabbit" to a tune the show's resident composer wrote for us, having never seen us dance but having looked at some Cotswold on YouTube. Can you tell?

Thanks for the info, Tig. I don't get the BBC, so I looked up Boggart's Breakfast on YouTube and enjoyed their dancing there.
