Sam Sweeney will be running a fiddle workshop in the village of Stoney Middleton, Derbyshire, on Saturday June 16th.

The day will run from 11am - 4:30pm, with three 1.5 hour sessions in the day. There are 20 places available at £35 per person.

It's a 30 minute drive from Chesterfield and Sheffield, and the nearest train station is Grindleford.

The sessions will be aimed at intermediate and advanced players only - no beginners on this occasion.

This will be top notch. Sam did an excellent all-day fiddle workshop for Lewes Saturday Folk Club in March this year with the Fay Hield Trio. We have had a lot of enthusiastic comments.

Workshop was excellent, highly recommended. He's running them in Oxford and Cambridge next I believe- see his website for details.
