I am surprised that there hasn't been more discussion about Band in a Box in this forum.

I sell Music technology products for a living and so a) have access to them and b) need to understand them to some extent.

For a long time I was put off by the BIAB user interface, but having tried out the Realtracks feature, I am surprised that the more advanced musicians on this forum are not regular users. (Perhaps they are but keep it a secret.)

Here's a video I made to demonstrate how BIAB can be used to add additional instruments to my basic voice and guitar recording.

I tried it out of curiosity about 12 years ago
and found it comparable in use to the preset 'intelligent' accompaniment backings
on Yamaha home & semi-pro keyboards and such like.

Interesting for mucking about and jamming out ideas with...
