Well gang, once again I am in your debt. I should be sending personal notes out here but there is so much I want to say to so many. I think I'd be so long winded to all of you as individuals that I'd be typing for the next three days. I'll try to get something to all of you personally as time goes by, but for now....Thanks to you all.

First, we have got a ton of things in the works and I have every confidence that something more permanent will pull together within a week or so. Her attitude is so good and as her many emotions go up, down, back, and forth...I am amazed at the maturity of thought she can muster and the spirit which she shows. Something will work out soon.

I certainly also appreciate everyone's concern for my health, but be assured that I'm doing fine.......and I'm fine in large part because, as one of you quite rightly told me, I "blew off steam" here at the 'Cat because I can. I said I didn't know why I was telling you this? Not true. I knew that I could because here are friends that understand and I can (and have) shared my most intimate feelings with. I've had thread messages, personal messages, e-mails, phone calls..........all of which prove once again how lucky I am to have come here and what truly great people and friends you've become. No words will really express what I feel for all of you.

Today we're getting back to business as usual and can begin to put things together for this little girl too. What a great kid. So I think I'll go find a thread to be insulting and obnoxious so you'll all know things are OK!!! Maybe I'll go razz Peter and see if we can't fit the heron into Buddhist theology ***VBG***

Hey 'spaw and crew, have you read anything by C**** (I don't remember his first name, Chris maybe?) Crutcher, writes "teen" fiction? We are reading Ironman out loud here, and besides cracking the family up, it deals with just this kind of **** and how teens (and adults who haven't had all their rough edges worn off) deal with it.

Pat, you know, sometimes things have a way of working themselves out perfectly, so perfectly that we couldn't have planned it better. I always think it is God in our lives. Happens to me frequently. Makes me see the futility of worry, willfull attempts to MAKE things happen the way I think they should. Anyway, I pray the best for M. Love you,

Dear Spaw, I have not been araound mudcat forawile so I have little knowledge about this matter, but I saw the story , and you can be proud about the things you are doing, I think the mother needs help. She is not a friend to M. As a father of three children , I am also their friend. So I say to all of you , be a friend as well as a father or a mother to your children. It is good for them to know that they can trust their parents. Well maybe I am not right but this is my thinking of this matter. All the best to you Spaw skarpi Iceland.

I've been unable to hang around much lately so am late in coming into this situation. I'm with you, brother Spaw, and I'm glad it's resolving. You were absolutely right to bring it to the 'Cat- this is a great place for support and encouragement and all that good stuff!

Sounds like she will be resilliant to me, largely because of what you two have given her in the past, (and because of what she has decided to do with it) Hope that things work out well there. Sorry VT is so far away. I got no tenage boys, and a room with a door that shuts and the food is awesome.
