I can't figure out the chords for this song and I'm not sure I have all the lyrics. Can anyone help me out?

Not sure if this is the definitive version, but I got it from a John Denver TV show, and the simple chord arrangement has stood me in good stead for many years.

I just noticed this old thread. The writer obviously doesn't know there is an introduction to this song (or call it a first verse if you like) which has a different tune to the main part of the song. Many songs from this period had an intro. It goes...
