Subject: RE: UK folk music gets its own satellite From: GUEST,punkfolkrocker Date: 16 Jul 12 - 08:17 AM At last.... 3 decades ago us young media savvy politicised students & musician types were rabbiting on about "Appropriating the means of mass media production and dissemination" or some such similar clever clogs big words trendy communications & media studies ideological mantra...??? Subject: RE: UK folk music gets its own satellite From: GUEST Date: 16 Jul 12 - 08:22 AM Quite. For a festival it's eminently affordable as it could partially replace the marketing spend on old media: press releases etc I understand it would come in at considerably less than five figures for most festivals. |
