Wednesday 22 August sees Kris Drever with Bella Hardy playing at Leicester Guildhall.

A multiple award winner with folk supergroup Lau, Kris Drever has also released two acclaimed solo albums, Blackwater and Mark The Hard Earth. He's played with Kate Rusby and Eddi Reader and released an album, Honk Toot Suite, with banjo player extraordinaire Eamon Coyne.

Bella Hardy is a three-time Folk Award nominee and her song "The Herring Girl" shared this year's award for Best Original Song this year with Steve Tilston. She also wrote the contemporary folk classic "Three Black Feathers" and her voice is a thing of beauty, described (without a hint of hyperbole) by Colin Irwin in fRoots as "committed, uncontrived, persuasive, passionate, empowering, and utterly wonderful."

Her new album, The Dark Peak and the White, which Kris played on and produced, is just out and getting great reviews from the likes of the Guardian and Bright Young Folk.
